Fütürizm, Hristiyan eskatolojisinde Vahiy Kitabı'nın bazı bölümlerini ve Kitab-ı Mukaddes'in diğer kıyametvari kısımlarını gelecekteki "ahir zaman" olayları olarak yorumlayan bir eskatolojik görüştür.[1] Buna karşılık, diğer Hristiyan eskatolojik görüşleri bu pasajları sembolik, tarihsel bir bağlamda geçmiş olaylar olarak yorumlar, örneğin preterizm ve tarihselcilik veya idealizmde olduğu gibi gerçek dışı ve ruhsal bir bağlamda günümüz olayları olarak yorumlar.
Fütürist inançlar genellikle premilenyumculuk ve dispensasyonalizm ile yakın bir ilişkiye sahiptir. Tarihsel premilenyumculuk, fütürist ve preterist görüşleri birleştirir.[2]
