Urviventus Kuşatması

Urviventus Kuşatması^[1] veya Urbs Vetus Kuşatması,^[2] I. Justinianus döneminde, Gotlar Savaşı sırasında gerçekleşti. Bizans komutanı Belisarius, Urviventus'u ele geçirmek için güçlü bir birlik gönderirken, kendisi Urbinus üzerine yürüdü.^[1] Albilas komutasındaki bin Got askeri,^[3] şehri savunmak için gönderilmişti. Belisarius, Urbinus'u ele geçirdikten sonra kuşatma ordusunu takviye etti. Durumu değerlendiren Belisarius, kasabanın ani bir saldırıyla alınamayacağına karar verdi.^[4] Şehrin erzakları tükenince savunmacılar teslim oldu.^[1]^[2]
