About me

I grew up in Sydney, Australia where I started my career as an interaction design consultant back in 2009. I now reside in Copenhagen, Denmark where my passion continues to be in graphic and interaction design. This is my work account, which I use for my role at the Wikimedia Foundation. My (mostly dusty) volunteer account is reetssydney.

My work

I joined Wikimedia in March 2016, starting as designer on the Apps teams, before moving to leading design on the newly reformed Growth team in 2018 to increase new editors and their contributions to Wikipedia. I'm now Director of Design at the foundation where I manage a talented team of designers endeavouring to create digital experiences that maximise ease and enjoyment of using Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects to learn and share knowledge.
