About me

I am Khadija Issa Twahir a librarian from the National Museums of Kenya, Lamu Museums, Kenya. I am Swahili from the coastal province of Kenya; my mother tongue is Kiswahili of Kiamu dialect. I am a member of Africa Wiki Woman who is currently an Africa Wiki Women Fellow. I joined and started contributing to Wikipedia and its sister project in 2022. Khadija is enthusiastic to make African women visible on Wikipedia and its sister project. I am passionate about recruiting new members in my community and enhancing content related to African Wiki Women. I have participated in many editing projects across Africa and globally. I am keen to learn more, collaborate, support, and volunteer to host Wikipedia projects in my community and globally. I love editing and adding items on the Wikidata
