Kral Philip Savaşı

Kral Philip Savaşı (bazen Birinci Kızılderili Savaşı, Metacom Savaşı, Metacomet Savaşı, Pometacomet İsyanı veya Metacom İsyanı olarak da adlandırılır), 1675–1678 yılları arasında Kuzeydoğu Ormanlıkları yerli halklarından oluşan bir grup ile İngiliz Yeni İngiltere Kolonileri ve yerli müttefikleri arasında gerçekleşen silahlı bir çatışmaydı. Savaş, adını Pokanoket şefi ve Wampanoag sakiması Massasoit ile Plymouth Kolonisi arasındaki dostane ilişkiler nedeniyle İngilizce Philip adını benimseyen Metacomet'ten almıştır. Savaş, 12 Nisan 1678'de Casco Körfezi Antlaşması'nın imzalanana kadar Yeni İngiltere'nin kuzey kesimlerinde devam etti.
