"Close to Me", The Cure'un The Head on the Door albümünden bir teklidir. Şarkı; bir BBC sitkomu The Smoking Room, Nigel Slater tarafından sunulan BBC yemek programı A Taste of My Life'ın tema müziği olmuş ve 2007 yapımı Son of Rambow filminin kapanış müziği olarak çalmıştır. Orijinal sürümü, en büyük başarısını İrlanda'da 4. sıraya kadar çıkarak yakalamıştır. Bunun yanında Avustralya'da da 7 numaraya yerleşmiştir. 1990 yılında remiksi yayınlanan şarkı yine tekli olarak piyasaya sürüldü. Birleşik Krallık'ta 13. sıraya, ABD Billboard Hot 100 listesinde ise 97. sıraya yerleşmiştir.
